A Capture the Flag (CTF) competition is a cybersecurity challenge where participants compete to solve various computer security problems in order to find "flags" (often strings of text). These flags represent the successful completion of a challenge and can be submitted to earn points.
The CTF at Cybersec Europe 2025 will be Jeopardy style. This means there will be a bank of challenges which you can choose from.
This year the focus of the CTF will be Web Application Security (specifically OWASP TOP 10 vulnerbilities) and Network Forensics.
The challenges this year are built for beginners and mid-level's. If we had to rate the challenges from 1-10, 1 being PicoCTF level and 10 being DefCon CTF level, we would rate them between 1-4.
The CTF will be 100% on-site. You will not be able to participate remotely.

The max team size is 4 people. You can sign up with as many members as you would like between 1-4 people in a team. If you want to compete yourself, you can create a team of 1.
Yes. When signing up to the CTF, you will be asked to state if you are already signed up to the Cybersec Europe conference. You can sign up for free here.
